A security deposit will be billed to your account unless: You have previously established an acceptable credit history with us, or You provide us with an acceptable credit history reference from another utility within two (2) weeks of submitting your application for service. To be acceptable, a credit history reference must show that you had utility service in your name for at least eighteen (18) consecutive months during the past twenty-four (24) months. It must also show that you paid your bills in full and on time each month while the service was in your name.
